北一ヴェネツィア美術館は、イタリアの古都・ヴェネツィアに古くから受け継がれてきた、豊かで潤いのある文化をご紹介する美術館として1988年に開館致しました。
　建物の外観は、ヴェネツィアに現存する18世紀の貴族の邸宅 『グラッシィ宮殿』 がモデルになっています。また、館内はヴェネツィア文化の成熟期である18世紀頃の様々な宮殿の建築様式を取り入れ、再現しています。
　２階は大きなガラスのシャンデリアが輝く 吹抜けフロアです。あのダイアナ妃もお乗りに なったという国賓用の貴重なゴンドラが、 ゆったりとお客様をお迎えします。
　貴族の宮殿を再現した各展示室では、 ヴェネツィア貴族の四季折々の暮らしをご紹介 しています。３千点の美しいヴェネツィアガラスや家具調度品を、どうぞお楽しみ下さい。

Kitaichi Venetian Art Museum opened in 1988. We introduce the affluent lifestyle and the flourishing culture of the historic city of Venice, Italy. The facade of this building is modeled after existing palace "Palazzo Grassi" in Venice. The rooms and interior decoration show the style of palace in 18th century, the most glorious period of Venetian culture.
